The Training for Warriors 8 Week Transformation program has kicked off for the summer! The participants and staff are all excited for another successful 8 week program. Over the past weekend all of the 8 week participants came in for their orientation. During the orientation the participants had the opportunity to meet their coach, registered dietician, and other supportive staff that will help them throughout the 8 weeks.

Heather, the 8 Week Transformation programs registered dietician had the opportunity to meet with everyone individually. During this time she was able to take their measurements and before photos so the participants can track their progress throughout the 8 weeks. Heather also took time to sit and talk to everyone so she could get to know them and their individual diet needs. Having this conversation makes it possible for her to assist and guide the participant to make healthier food choices.

While meeting with their coach Danielle, they were able to get a good idea of how the sessions would run. On Mondays there will be a lower body work out where they get to work on the trap bar dead lift, squats, lunges, and push the prowler amongst other things. Wednesdays will be their total body day. On their total body day they will rotate through a number of different stations where they can challenge themselves to get in as many reps as possible in the allotted time. On Friday they will end their week with an upper body lift with a sprint. During this session the participants will rotate back and forth between running sprints on the track and heading into the gym for some upper body lifts.

The next 8 weeks are going to be challenging and will require the participants to be fully committed to the program. To be successful you have to give it everything. The 8 week participants are truly embarking on a rewarding and life changing journey.
